Superior Exporting Capabilities

Baltimore Marine Terminal

The Baltimore Marine Terminal, strategically located in the Port of Baltimore, serves as one of two coal export terminals on the Eastern Seaboard with the ability to serve the largest ocean-going ships in the world, and the only one served by two rail lines, Norfolk Southern and CSX Transportation.

With an annual through-put capacity of 15 million tons of coal, the Terminal’s infrastructure and ground storage allow for highly specific blending capabilities to meet customer demands. The Terminal has processed more than 10 million tons of coal per annum on average since 2010.

Core Natural Resources also has strategic connectivity to ports in Vancouver, British Columbia, Long Beach, California, Houston, Texas, and New Orleans, Louisiana, accessing shipping to the Pacific Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. Combined with the Baltimore location, these comprehensive North American logistics and export capabilities means Core Natural Resources can effectively serve a growing customer base, enhancing reliable, efficient worldwide coal delivery.
